IP2- Inspired People Inspire People was formed to create a network that empowers members and helps everyone recognize the benefits of their unique life experiences. Created by Michael Campbell, the organization encourages its members to be true to themselves instead of “chasing the hype,” and benefit others by showing, not telling, their unique experiences.
Jamaica Story
Since 2018, Michael has been working on Jamaica Story, interviewing Jamaicans at home and in the diaspora. The conversation involves how we as a people can: (1) create opportunities (2) preserve culture The goal is to have like-minded people work together to find solutions and inspire people to invest time and money into Jamaica.

My Story, Your Story, Our Story!
From Michael- Jamaica is the most beautiful island I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit. Unfortunately, beyond its natural beauty, there is a severe lack of opportunities that limits what the average resident can do. My mother and millions of Jamaicans had to make the hard decision to leave everything they knew to make a better life in America.
Sometimes the best way to help maximize potential is from the outside looking in - to understand the situation from a different perspective and with the best interest at heart. Like the coach of a team, he isn’t playing in the game, he may not know exactly what the players are going through, however, from the outside he can see things the players cannot. From this perspective, he can help guide their actions to help them win. With both the players and coach working together to form the right strategies, the chances of winning become much greater.
When I think of Jamaica I think of the people there who are similar to my mother, not looking for a hand out, but just looking for an opportunity to work and make a change for the better. I have the obligation to do my best to help the millions in Jamaica on their journey to an honest living, prosperity and peace of mind.
